The famous monsoon Sahyadri Fort is more massive than the twin fort Lohagad. Visapur Fort Lonavala is at a higher altitude than Lohagad Fort. Many caves, water tanks, old houses, arches, waterfalls, and temples are on the Sahyadri Fort. Visapur is an ideal trekking destination near Mumbai, Pune, and Lonavala. The Visapur Fort Monsoon trek will enthrall you, and it will make your journey amazing. Enjoy the thrills of trekking in the challenging terrains! Fort offers a majestic view from a height of 3556 feet.

Option 1

Day 1
Train timings for Mumbai participants
Indrayani Express

05:40 am - CSMT

05:51 am - Dadar

06:14 am - Thane

06:33 am - Kalyan

07:58 am - Lonavala

Train timings for Pune participants

Lonavala Local Train

06:30 am - Pune

06:34 am - Shivaji Nagar

07:50 am - Lonavala

08.00 am – Meet the team at Lonavala Station and move towards Visapur “

09.00 am – Reach the base Village & have breakfast

09.30 am – Start the trek

11.30 am – Reach the top & Explore the surrounding

12.30 pm – Start descending

02.30 pm – Reach the base village & have lunch

03.30 pm – Start the return journey to Lonavala station

04.30 pm Departure to Mumbai or Pune


Option 2 - By Bus from Mumbai 

Day 1 

05.10 am - Meet at SGNP, Borivali 

05.20 am - Leave for Visapur Fort Trek 

05.40 am - Pick up from Andheri WEH

06.00 am - Pick up from Kalanagar bus stop (on the highway), Bandra

06.20 am - Pick up at Sion station circle 

06.35 am - Pick up at Diamond Garden, Chembur 

06.50 am - Pick up from Vashi Plaza

07.20 am - Pick up from McDonald's, Kalamboli 

09.00 am - Reach Lonavala and move towards the base village by local jeep 

09.30 am - Reach Base Village and Have breakfast

10.15 am - Start Ascending 

12.00 pm - Reach the top & explore 

01.00 pm - Start Descending 

03.00 pm - Reach Base village & have lunch 

04.00 pm - Start the return Journey towards Lonavala by local Jeep 

04.30 pm - Reach Lonavala & proceed to Mumbai by private vehicle 

10.00 pm - Approx Reach Mumbai

Things to carry

Identity Proof

2/3 liters water (Very Important)

Good trekking shoes (Very Important)

Extra pair of Floaters/Sandals.

Some Dry Fruits / Dry Snacks / Energy Bars

Some ready-to-eat food (Like plum cakes, biscuits, etc.)

A haversack to put all your belongings in. Keep your hands free while trekking

Double pack your valuables/phones in plastic bags

Rain is expected, so pack your bags accordingly to save them from getting wet

Personal Medicine

 Trek India Event Rules

The Trek Leader's Decision will be final, members should abide by it.

Any addiction is strictly prohibited, e.g. drinking, smoking, chewing tobacco anyone caught doing it will have to exit the trek without a refund and travel back at their own expense.

Kindly carry one Identity proof, at least for the trek with your address.

People caught smoking or drinking alcohol will be asked to exit the event on an immediate basis

If you are late for the bus pickup and are not reachable on the phone during your bus pickup, the trek leader will leave without you, and we will provide no refund.

Please check things to carry and wear trekking shoes on our treks.

We should strictly follow the code of conduct to avoid troubling our fellow trekkers or other people from our group or outside
