About Garbett:-
The climate of Matheran is very cool. The most unforgettable things about Matheran are the deep forest and the waterfalls nearby, especially in the rainy season. The beauty of the hill station gets doubled in monsoon. Matheran is truly 'The Best hill station in Maharashtra.
Matheran beautifully covers an area of 8 square kilometers in Sahyadris. This lovely spot was discovered in 1850 by Hugh Poyntz Malet, the collector of Thane district. Garbett Point is located on the South-west side of Matheran with a grand view of the plateau.

Itinerary:-
Day 1:-
05.00 Am:- Meet the Team at Borivali Station
05.15 Am:- Start the Journey to Garbett
05.30 Am:- Pick up from Andheri
05.45 Am:- Pick up from Bandra
06.15 Am:- Pick up from Chembur
08.00 Am:- Reach Bhivpuri
08.50 Am:- Reach Dhom Lake & Have small introduction Round.
10.00 Am:- Reach the Village & rest for some time.
10.15 Am:;- Continue the trek to Garbett Point.
12.15 pm:- Reach the pleatue & rest for some time.
01.00 pm:- Start moving towards the top to get a scenic Garbett plateau view
01:30 pm:- Reach top settle down to enjoy the surroundings, click pics, and have fun
02.10 pm:- Start Journey to Neral Station.
04.00 pm:- Reach the Neral Station.
04.30 pm:- Start the return journey to Mumbai.

All kinds of extra meals/soft Drinks were ordered.
Any kind of Personal Expenses.
All expenses incurred due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances like roadblocks, and bad weather.
Things to Carry:-
Good Trekking shoes & Extra Pair of floaters.
Extra Pair of Clothes (Optional)
Water (min 2 ltrs) compulsory
Some ready-to-eat food like biscuits, plum cake, etc.
Medicines if any required
1 packet of electrol, enerzal, gluconate D
Avoid Wearing precious ornaments at an event, if possible.
A haversack or backpack to put all the above things to be carried, so hands are free to help each other while trekking. Sling bags / jholas / trolley bags etc not allowed at the event. Please pack accordingly.
Cover the bag with rain cover.
Things to Remember:-
A basic toilet facility will be available at the base village.
We advise participants to not opt for such an event with any medical issues.
We don’t recommend participants reach the base village with their vehicle considering the complicated route & respecting everyone’s time.
Smoking/drinking/ Smoke up is strictly prohibited during the event. Anyone found will be expelled from the event immediately.
Trek Leader's decision will be final & argument will be entertained.
Participants' Safety is our prime concern for us and will not compromise for the same.
Trek India is not Responsible for any baggage or personal belongings loss/damage and participants are responsible for the same.
Don’t expect VIP or Luxurious treatment, as we are going for the Trekking/camping, so be adventurous and free.
